Grant A. Grimes is a litigation attorney at Kuhn Raslavich, P.A., who primarily focuses his practice on representing homeowners and businesses against their insurance carriers for wrongfully denied or underpaid claims.

Prior to joining Kuhn Raslavich, Grant managed a solo law practice focused on pre-suit homeowners’ insurance claims, small business litigation and transactions, and criminal defense in his hometown of Orlando, FL. His previous litigation experience includes work at Florida’s largest first-party property firm representing homeowners against their insurance carriers, a Chicago-based firm focused on consumer rights representing individuals with cases against manufacturers in accordance with Florida’s Lemon Law (Motor Vehicle Warranty Enforcement Act) and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, and serving as an Assistant State Attorney for the 5th Judicial Circuit and 18th Judicial Circuit of Florida, where he prosecuted various crimes on behalf of the residents and citizens of Sumter, Seminole, and Brevard Counties.

Grant is licensed to practice law in all Florida and Illinois state courts. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Florida and his Juris Doctorate from Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, where he focused and excelled in his studies of Florida Criminal Procedure.
