Jennifer J. Smith, Esq.

Jennifer J. Smith is a Partner with Kuhn Raslavich, P.A. in the Boca Raton, Florida office. Jennifer has extensive trial and litigation experience facing insurance companies head on in front of juries throughout the State of Florida. Formerly a partner at a state-wide insurance defense firm, Jennifer has represented insurance carriers, corporations, and individuals in all aspects of litigation through trial and appellate procedures. In 2017, she joined Kuhn Raslavich, P.A. and began representing policyholders and property owners in first party and third-party insurance claims focusing on coverage issues, coverage denials, third-party liability property damage, and condominium disputes. She has years of experience litigating water damage claims, hurricane claims, fire claims, and collapse claims. In addition, she litigates bad faith and extra-contractual claims on behalf of policyholders and third-party claimants including potential punitive damages claims associated with extra-contractual issues.

Jennifer also handles third party liability claims involving Condominium Associations and neighboring unit owners in addition to pre-suit matters.

Jennifer was selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022, an honor afforded to only 2.5% of Florida Attorneys. In addition, she was nominated and selected as one of the Notable Women Leaders in Law in 2025 by Florida Trend Magazine.

As a native Floridian, Jennifer received her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University in 2008 and her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in 2005. Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys cooking, grilling and spending time with her husband and two sons.
